About Me

Hey!

I’m a Taurus. If you know me, that might be surprising, as I don’t exactly fit the stereotype. In fact, to this day, I have not had a single person guess my sign correctly.

But astrology, like everything else, is layered. My Taurus Sun might technically ground me, but the rest of my chart seems to have always been louder. And that feels like a pretty accurate way to describe how I have been moving through life.

On paper, I’m a Korean-American from Atlanta. In reality, that barely scratches the surface.

The more layers you peel back, the more you’ll find the things that make up my day-to-day life.

I’m a major foodie who also loves to cook and bake, someone who only likes fall and winter (which is very ironic as I was born in May and from a place quite literally nicknamed “Hotlanta”), and someone who will always have either an Alani Nu or a matcha in hand; sometimes both (yes, I know it’s probably a little concerning). I was born in Washington, so moving to Los Angeles feels almost like a long awaited return to the West Coast, even if I still can’t decide which coast is the best. I’ve been traveling since I was born and am still obsessed with going to new places, I’m an absolutely massive college football fan (go Dawgs), an ENTP and an enneagram 8w7, and at this point, I’ve accepted that everything I own will eventually turn pink (it’s been like that since I was a child).

Music and entertainment have always been constants in my life. I grew up on pop culture, and my earliest dream was to become a K-pop idol (which in hindsight explains a lot). And music is still how I make sense of things. I have playlists for different moods or events, I mark moments by what I was listening to during that time, and I’m drawn to the way entertainment brings people together and creates shared moments out of nothing. That’s where my love for storytelling and connection really lives.

At the end of the day, I’m a people lover. I care about relationships in a real way, the kind built on curiosity, trust, and shared experiences. Whether it’s through conversations, culture, or creative work, I’m always drawn to the ways people find common ground with each other.

So while I might technically be a Taurus sun, my Libra moon and Sagittarius rising (a stellium in fact) are also right there always fighting for the spotlight. And maybe that’s the point to the life I’m living.

I’m not meant to be just one thing.
